Our Favourite Gluten Free Recipies

Are you a celiac disease positive? If yes, then you and your stomach both might be gloomy over the fact that the good old days of gulping down mouthwatering food are over. Celiac disease makes you gluten sensitive which is a protein found in wheat, grains and rye and ends up in making you drift far apart from all the dishes which have gluten present in them. But nothing to fret about. Here are two easy and appetizing gluten free recipes exclusively for you that would surely satisfy your appetite!

  1. Gluten Free Chicken Macaroni

 

  • Ingredients:

 

  • 250 grams gluten free elbow macaroni.
  • 2 sliced chicken breasts. You can use previously prepared and frozen chicken breast fillet too.
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped tarragon herb.
  • 1 minced garlic clove.
  • 100 grams frozen peas.
  • 1 finely chopped bell pepper.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese.
  • 1/2 cup skimmed milk.

 

 

  • Directions:

 

  • Boil the macaroni in a big saucepan for 7 minutes.
  • After 7-10 minutes drain the water and place the boiled macaroni back in the saucepan.
  • Heat a minimum sized frying pan.
  • Cook the sliced chicken in it until it turns golden.
  • Later, add peas, bell paper and tarragon in it.
  • Next, cook all of them together for another 5 minutes.
  • Afterwards, add the minced garlic along the other ingredients.
  • Next, pour the milk in a bowl and add shredded cheese to it.
  • Stir them nice and good until they form a smooth sauce.
  • Later, add the sauce and the cooked chicken and vegetables to the macaroni while seasoning them with salt and pepper.
  • Later, bake the macaroni at a heat of200°C for about 20 minutes.
  • Garnish with parmesan and serve while hot.

 

01.Gluten Free Apple Smoothie

 

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup chopped tart apples.
  • 1/2 cup skimmed yoghurt.
  • 1 cup almond milk.
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon.
  • 2 tsp. honey syrup.
  • 1 cup ice.

 

 

  • Directions:
  • Place all ingredients except the ice cubes together in a blender.
  • Blend them together and purée until smooth.
  • Blend for almost one minute.
  • Pour it into a big mug, add ice cubes and serve it chilled.
