Don’t forget to consume Chia seeds this Ramadan!



We are sure you know what chia seeds are. Very commonly known as regular tukh malanga. These small guys not just taste very good they have a lot of benefits too. So make sure you consume some to give your health a kick start.

The babies are high on  protein and fibre levels that help you feel fuller for longer, you guys who doesn’t want that? Add these in your fresh juices or Greek Yogurt and feel amazing!

Chia seeds in Greek yogurt . Toss in some fruit to make it even better!

Chia seeds in fresh pomegranate juice. Yumm!


Or you can try this amazing PinaColada pudding that is totally guilt free



  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1 can (13.66 fl ounces) full low fat milk
  • 1 Tbs butter
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1/4 cup  coconut shreds, toasted.


Mix chia seeds and milk together, set aside, Let sit 5-10 minutes until thickened Toast coconut in 1/2 Tbs of butter over medium high heat. Cut pineapple into small bite sized pieces. Remove coconut from pan when golden brown, and add remaining 1/2 Tbs of butter and pineapple, then saute in a pan with brown sugar until warm At this point your chia should have grown in size, and your mixture should be thick like a pudding, place in serving dishes, and top with pineapple and toasted coconut Enjoy!
